Big Chief on OGkushfarmers
'Big shot writer' Stevie called me, egging me on to contribute to the clan's blog. You know when you are called big shot anything, the pressure is on. And so I have been staring wide eyed at the screen wondering how to impress. Do I talk about strategy? What the hell do I know about strategy? I barely manage to one star enemies in clan wars (the loot it brings is sooo welcome though). So what about the army? What about the army?? Who plays clash of clans that don't know about every army there is on there?
Ah...I will write about the clan (wide smile). Guys this is Og farmers from the small view of the bigchief. I have been in a whole lot of other clans before ryballer recruited me and I have never been in a clan more than a week before making elder (I kid you not). But this was the first clan that did not lay emphasis on the imbalance of donations/receive ratio. That was heaven to a not so strong village in a clan of well developed villages. This was the first clan I did not care for elder. When I first join a clan I identify the leader and in this case it is Moose. But he was as dormant as a blue paint next to red. He allows his king's hand (if you have watched Game of Thrones), King Stig II run the clan. So far so good. I am yet to be in a clan where there is no bickering and bad blood or some antagonist of some sort and I initially assumed Willy D was going to run me off eventually but he has been cool. And I eventually made elder! (another wide smile). Since I have been in this clan I have developed faster than I have in any other clan (carry on guys).
There are no faults to point out unless you are a crystal who chooses to stay in bronze...cough...Tyson..cough cough. Or one who cant string a sentence together without gay connotations...cough...Odie..cough cough.
They are still top guys anyhow ;)

Clan Wars rules reminder..
Clan Wars rules
Defence:
- Protect weaker buildings like barracks and collectors rather than storages, which are good meat shields.
- Move your town hall inside.
- Center your Clan Castle Make is hard for them to lure your troops out.
- Donate level 5 or 6 wizards for Clan Wars, and top up with level 5/6 archers.
Wizards are excellent defensive Troops, as they can attack enemy Troops from behind Walls. If attacking Troops notice a Wizard emerging from the Clan Castle they will turn to attack it, even if they have to destroy a Wall segment to reach it.
As of the 12 March 2013 update, the Wizard's attack now has a splash component. This increases their effectiveness against lower-health Troops such as Goblins, Archers and Barbarians as Clan Castle Troops.
Make sure you attack someone you can 3 STAR !!! I don't like seeing people 1 starting high up guys when there are a lot of other bases to choose from.
Offense:
- Lower 1/3 of players should attack enemy within the first 12 hours.*
- Middle 1/3 of players should attack enemy within 6-18 hours.*
- Upper 1/3 of players should attack enemy from 12-24 hours.*
- Attack a base where you think you can 2-star or 3-star.
- If there is no base you think you can 2-star, try to 1-star the strongest enemy you can.
- If a base has already been 1-starred, only attack if you are sure you can 3-star it.
- Do not attack a base that has already been 2-starred.
- Do not attack a player that is too far below your level, leave them for our lower level players to try first.
*If you cannot play within your time window, you may play whenever you can. It's more important for you to use up your attacks than strictly following this order.
Inactive players:
1. If you don't use your attacks, you will be kicked.
2. If you don't change your base for maximum defence (eg. town hall inside), you will be kicked.
Please give your feedback or ask any question regarding this set of War Rules. They are open to discussion until finalized by clan leaders and elders.

Townhall Designs
Just a few while I've been trolling around looking for loot..
Townhall 7not exactly a hard base but flowery in design.
This one looked quite tidy dues to everything being so spread out. Easy Hogs base though. Level 3/4+ hogs

Best thing you can do it get your hogs to level 4/5 quickly. Yes its expensive but well worth it.

Centering your Chi (Clan castle)
Most important things you can do for wars are;
I would switch the CC and the townhall... this base is good against giants and hogs... not awesome against drags.
Great centering of the Clan Castle but pity about the townhall.. :)

Attacking with hogz
Attacking with Hogs;
Townhall 8
Using 30 hogs 40 archers 10 barbs.
3 heal spells
And your clan castle full with wizards or hogs.
Best thing you can do is pick the right target!
You need either a base with no spaces, which means no traps for the hogs to get wasted on.
or an easier base to attack.
Check this one below; Vi7ser. from our Clan.
You need to tease out the clan castle and the barbking.
Bring them further away from the defences to easily take them out.
Put down your clan castle or your reserved archers/barbs
Deploy your hogs putting two fingers down at the same time with about 15-20 squares apart.
usually same side of the map though.
Watch as they attack and if they are close to wizard towers I usually drop heals
In this case Vi7ser dropped it just after they were low in health near the bottom.
